About Eden Larkin (She/Her)
Eden Larkin, Resident in Counseling, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Virginia navigate emotional challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. As a counselor associate at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for a wide range of concerns, with particular experience supporting individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, and trauma-related difficulties. Eden works collaboratively with each patient to develop practical strategies that support emotional well-being, healthier relationships, and long-term growth. Eden is especially passionate about working with concerns related to gender identity, helping individuals explore their authentic selves in a supportive, affirming, and judgment-free environment. She understands that identity development can be deeply personal and sometimes complex, and she strives to create a therapeutic space where patients feel safe, respected, and empowered. Her approach recognizes the importance of honoring each person’s lived experience while promoting self-understanding and confidence. Her therapeutic style combines evidence-based care with genuine curiosity and compassion. She utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions to help patients better understand patterns of thinking, manage difficult emotions, and move toward goals that align with their values. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, Eden has experience supporting individuals with depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), medical and health-related concerns, and additional mental health needs. Eden enjoys working with a variety of populations, including individuals on the autism spectrum, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and women. She values creating an inclusive therapeutic environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their mental health journey. Outside of her clinical work, Eden enjoys fiber arts, creative pursuits, and social justice advocacy.
