Sierra Poling helps adolescents, teens, and adults throughout Washington navigate emotional challenges, relationship stressors, and life transitions through compassionate, personalized therapy at LifeStance Health. She provides individual therapy for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns while supporting individuals facing a variety of additional mental health challenges. Sierra believes therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and empowering, creating space for patients to explore their experiences openly while developing practical tools for growth and healing. Sierra is especially passionate about helping individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, and the lasting effects of trauma. She understands how intrusive thoughts, emotional overwhelm, and avoidance behaviors can interfere with daily life, relationships, work, and school. Her approach focuses on helping patients better understand their emotional patterns, strengthen coping skills, and build confidence in managing difficult thoughts and experiences. Sierra works to foster a welcoming and affirming therapeutic environment where patients feel respected, heard, and supported throughout the healing process. Using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and Exposure Therapy, Sierra tailors treatment to each patient’s unique needs and goals. She has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and military veterans, while also offering care for additional concerns such as ADHD, grief, school avoidance, insomnia, and women’s mental health issues. Her therapeutic style balances empathy with skill-building to help patients create meaningful and sustainable change. Sierra earned her education from University of Louisville and began practicing in 2023. As a provisionally licensed clinician, she is dedicated to continued professional growth and providing thoughtful, patient-centered mental health care for individuals across different stages of life. Outside of her clinical work, Sierra enjoys traveling, spending time with her cats, listening to music, and watching horror movies. She values creativity, curiosity, and connection, which contribute to her approachable and authentic therapeutic style.

Sierra Poling provides services with supervision.
