DBT-Informed Therapy Groups in Indiana
These groups teach practical DBT skills to help you improve emotional awareness, manage intense reactions, and develop healthier coping skills.
Group Overview:
DBT Basics: A 5-week foundational group covering the principles of DBT, goal setting, and the relationship between emotions, thoughts, urges, and actions.
Distress Tolerance: A 5-week group focused on skills for getting through difficult moments, including evaluating reactions, weighing pros and cons, and self-soothing techniques.
Emotional Regulation: A 4-week group exploring how to understand and manage emotions, with tools for self-care, building positive experiences, and working through problems effectively.
Interpersonal Effectiveness: A 5-week group exploring how to strengthen relationships, communicate effectively, and balance the needs of others with your own values and self-respect.
DBT Mindfulness Part I: A 4-week group focused on skillful responses to life’s challenges, and learning to experience emotions without immediate reaction.
DBT Mindfulness Part II: A 3-week group centered on discerning facts from opinions, reducing emotional intensity, and applying mindfulness skills without assumptions.

DBT Basics: Virtual on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m.
- Starting August 4 and ending September 1, 2026
- Starting September 15 and ending October 13, 2026
- Starting March 2 and ending March 30, 2027
- Starting April 6 and ending May 4, 2027
Distress Tolerance: Virtual on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m., starting August 5 and ending September 2, 2026
Emotional Regulation: Virtual on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m., starting September 16 and ending October 7, 2026
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Virtual on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m., starting October 21 and ending November 18, 2026
DBT Mindfulness Part I: Virtual on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m., starting April 7 and ending April 28, 2027
DBT Mindfulness Part II: Virtual on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m., starting May 12 and ending May 26, 2027
