My very first appointment with Bill at LifeStance went very well! He showed a lot of concern for me and for the challenges that I’m going through in my life right now, and everything I’ve gone through with my mental health so far in my life. Provider (Ryan) has comfortable couch in private office for therapy session. Provider is very professional, listens attentively, provides helpful resources, and guides realistic goal setting. Judgement-free zone. Convenient location, easy to read directory in building entryway to locate office. Overall building hallways/restroom show signs of wear (run down appearance), but this is outside of Lifestance's control (they do not own the building).

I've been seeing Bill for almost a year. What turned into a court-ordered driver safety plan now has flourished into a place where I feel heard and acknowledged. He doesn't give me the answers. He shows me how to use the tools I have to find my own answers. So much more gratifying. I've learned that low self worth and low self esteem can change a person for life. But if you never fix that you won't have much worth to your life.

In a time where mental health is crucial it is tough to find a provider who has openings in their schedule much less one that you really connect with however that has been the case for me. My provider has been flexible to ensure that we can meet on a regular basis and has truly been a lifeline and who has taught me useful strategies to move through my struggles.

For someone who deals with mental illness and having a hard time finding a therapist that you can trust is extremely hard. I've been dealing with this for 20 years.
