And then. I BROKE DOWN... Crying uncontrollably. I didn't know why this was happening to me. That lightning bolt truck again and with that being said.it puts pieces back into the puzzle.That you did not want to remember. And it breaks you down .. and it keeps happening. I had to deal with all of these unwanted emotions that I thought I didn't have. I know that people can relate to this story.This Story is mine To tell ... It's only been 2 months of processing and healing. But it's going to take some time. With that being said I have a wonderful therapist that gets me. And that's important.. I have a clean slate. And Now. It's time to start creating My own story. And I get to choose.Who I want to be in my story.And not many people can do that... My Story Is a true one... Identity shift crisis.Is No Joke... Some of my family thought I needed an intervention... My identity crisis started on December 15th 2025.. I have been dealing with this since then and now we are in February.... Really if you explain yourself to your friends and your coworkers some of them don't not understand.. they just don't get it it's an emotional roller coaster it really is.. I thought I was having a nervous breakdown.But I wasn't. It's called trauma in your lifetime and when that trigger goes off. Your whole life flashes in front of you. The bad the good... And let me tell you.I could write a novel. I need people to know. What I've gone through. And what I am going through and I'm not ashamed to admit it.I needed to get help. And I found the practice to Help me and it's called Life stance health. I highly recommend Ryan fish to be your therapist. Trust me .I wouldn't recommend him.If I didn't feel this way.... Ryan is helping me heal now... Do not feel ashamed. There's nothing wrong with you. Reach Out and get help. Don't ever be afraid.to do so...

I have experienced the upmost professional and caring treatment from the therapeutic staff/doctors at Gershon. The front desk staff at the time (it's been 7 months since I've been back) leaves a little to be desired in their friendliness, but they get the job done. My therapist, Kate Whipple is by far the best I've seen/talked with and I have been to many therapists trying to find the right match for my issues and personality. Those with mental illness and trauma knows that is no easy feat. She goes out of her way to find material that relates to issues you're going through, which can help you understand your mannerisms and be a guide to help you heal or change undesired behaviors. She not only has the education, professionalism, kindness, she also has the best "chairside" manner. She listens meaningfully. I initially had my full psychological evaluation done by Dr. Whipple and was first see by Dr. Gershon before that. These are also two of the most caring, highly educated, professional, and caring individuals I have ever met in this field. I know I am in great hands at Gershon.

My son has seen Dr Tonya Latzman for almost two years. She’s a blessing in our lives. She is compassionate, genuine, thoughtful, caring and loves what she does. She has amazing bedside manners. My son loves to see and spend time with her. He always is looking forward to speaking with her. I highly recommend her as a child psychologist. She’s a wonderful person inside and out!

Life Stance was a wonderful experience for me. I worked with Dr. Kyla Kennedy for a neuropsych evaluation and she was always comforting, professional, and had wonderful communication. I felt empowered throughout the process and she always checked to see if she could answer any questions or clarify anything. I would highly recommend Dr. Kennedy and Life Stance Health!

Had a nice long talk with Michael Gershon. Unlike some other behavioral and medical providers, Dr. Gershon really understood my situation. Very practical, realistic thinker. His perspective helped me focus logically and temporarily push aside the trauma and anxiety that I'm feeling about my situation. Thank you.

Dr. Michael Gershon is a very wonderful person who really listen to his patience and goes out of his way to make sure they have the most current knowledge of whatever they are there for in therapy. I couldn't ask for a better psychologist to be going to for my own issues
