About Shae Goodell (She/Her)
Shae Goodell helps children and families build stronger emotional well-being, improve daily functioning, and navigate challenges with confidence and support. At LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for children and families across New Hampshire, helping patients address concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and childhood behavior issues while fostering healthy development and resilience. Shae is especially passionate about working with children who are experiencing developmental, behavioral, and emotional challenges. She understands that every child’s needs are unique and collaborates closely with caregivers to create practical, individualized strategies that support growth at home, in school, and within the community. Her approach is grounded in the belief that lasting change happens when children feel understood, supported, and empowered. Drawing from interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Shae helps children develop coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy behavioral patterns. She has experience supporting children and families affected by ADHD, anxiety, and school-related concerns, while also offering additional support for a range of emotional and developmental needs. Shae enjoys working with children in adoption and foster care settings, as well as those with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. She recognizes the importance of involving families in the treatment process and works to create a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive. By integrating clinical expertise with a deep understanding of child development, she helps families identify meaningful goals and take practical steps toward progress. Outside of her clinical work, Shae enjoys reading, creating art, hiking, spending time with dogs, and exploring nature. She is also passionate about mindfulness, yoga, meditation, breathwork, neuroscience, developmental psychology, and integrative wellness practices, all of which inform her holistic perspective on mental health and personal growth. Shae’s educational background includes studies at Rivier University, Tabor College, and Capella University, along with advanced training in mindfulness, yoga therapy, and integrative wellness. She is committed to lifelong learning and staying current with approaches that support children’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental health. For families seeking child therapy, behavioral support, ADHD treatment, anxiety therapy, or family counseling in New Hampshire, Shae provides thoughtful, individualized care designed to help children and families move forward with greater confidence and connection.
