Elizabeth Andresen, PhD, Psychologist in Carmel, Indiana

Dr. Elizabeth Andresen is a Psychologist in Indiana who has been practicing since 2014.

Dr. Andresen sees patients across the lifespan when there are concerns about thinking skills (i.e., memory, attention, problem solving, language). The measures she completes with patients help her understand what’s going on with the patient’s brain, to see what parts are working the way we would expect for age, and what parts are having more trouble. This helps everyone understand what support the patient needs, and how the patient can use their excellent skills to support the things that are harder for them. Dr. Andresen’s main goal for each evaluation is understanding – she wants to help patients, families, providers, schools, and employers (as relevant) understand what’s going on so that everyone can be on the same page and start helping life go smoother.

Outside of work, Dr. Andresen loves reading cozy fantasy and sci-fi, especially if it’s steampunk! She’s a crafter, and recently began learning how to embroider. The thing she is the proudest of crafting (aside from her children), is a costume of Rey from The Force Awakens, in which she is allowed to represent Rey at charity events.
