Kara Hale, LPC
Specializes In:
I graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Health Sciences concentrating in Public Health Education. I later returned to school and received an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University. Utilizing my educational, personal, and professional experiences, my counseling perspective has been shaped to provide a holistic, collaborative approach to mental health and overall well-being. Current areas of focus include anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, self-esteem, stress management, first responders, and their families. Using a strengths-based, client-centered approach, I work to provide a therapeutic environment to aid in growth, self-development, and empowerment. I seek to work alongside clients to develop effective coping skills, increase mindfulness, and explore experiences impacting mental health. In my free time, I enjoy taking my beagle for long walks, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
