Hannah Parrish, PMHNP

Hannah Parrish is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Arizona who has been practicing since January 2023.

Hannah’s passion to become a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner began at an early age after losing a friend to suicide. A wonderful organization was developed by the parents of Hannah’s friend to help raise awareness for mental health and the stigma associated with it. Being able to openly talk about depression and suicide at such a young age enlightened Hannah about the invisible struggles that people experience. This experience gave Hannah the desire to pursue a career in the field of mental health. Hannah has five years of experience as an intensive care, and emergency room nurse, which has given her a solid foundation to provide client-centered care. The emergency room provided Hannah the opportunity to work with the mental health population within the emergency department, which grew her love and desire of helping those in crisis. Hannah believes teamwork makes the dream work, and she strives to achieve this level of teamwork with her patients. Hannah’s goal as a provider is to help remove the stigma associated with mental health and make the world a better, more accepting place.

Outside of the workplace, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to travel and be outdoors, but also loves a good game night or movie night in. When she has some down time, she loves to dive into a great book or do some baking.

See what our patients are saying about Hannah Parrish

I had never seen a psychiatrist or psychiatric provider before, and honestly, I expected someone who would just push meds and move on. Hannah Parrish at LifeStance completely changed that picture for me. She is straightforward and no-nonsense, but in a way that feels grounding and respectful, not cold or detached. Hannah genuinely cares about what you’re going through and takes the time to understand the full picture instead of jumping to a quick fix. She listens closely, asks smart questions, and makes it very clear that she wants to work with you on your problems, whatever they are, rather than just telling you what to do. What stands out most is how collaborative and human her approach is. She talks to you like a real person, shows empathy and emotion, and doesn’t shy away from difficult topics. I never feel rushed in our sessions, and I always leave feeling heard, supported, and like there is a real plan in place that we created together. If you’re nervous about seeing someone for the first time or worried about getting a “pill pusher” who doesn’t really care, I highly recommend giving Hannah a chance. She is the real deal—no bullshit, no judgment, just thoughtful, compassionate, and effective care.

Hannah ALWAYS makes me feel heard, seen, and genuinely understood. After feeling dismissed and minimized by other providers, working with her has been a complete game-changer. She takes the time to find the right solution—instead of just throwing meds at symptoms and hoping something sticks. She’s kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. Even uncomfortable topics feel safe with her. If you're looking for a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, look no further! You won’t regret working with Hannah.
