I try my best to be accurate and honest when I leave a review. Although there are a few services out there now that I think are doing this. LifeStance made it super easy and comfortable to connect with a counselor, a Psychiatrist and/or with a Psychologist. Both of the ladies that connected me with my mental health providers (I really wish I wrote down their names) were so good that I started choking up a little bc of how compassionate they were about understanding the need for a good fit. Having mental issues stinks…and there’s a lot to it (putting it nicely) and even with trying to get an appointment (which is like step one and really hard to find the courage to do so) it’s a pain in the butt. So the fact that they make it easy and fast (bc when you need help you need it like yesterday, not in 3 weeks) is such a blessing. So for those two ladies who I apologize I didn’t write down their names and to LifeStance for hiring people like that. Thank you. And shout out to my Doc too. You know who you are, thank you.

Dr. G has been one of the most responsive and genuinely helpful doctors I’ve worked with. What stood out most to me was that when I started having serious side effects and instability from medication changes, he actually listened instead of dismissing me. He responded quickly, adjusted the plan appropriately, and treated the situation with urgency and professionalism. He’s willing to collaborate with patients instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all approach, and that made a huge difference for me. Mental health treatment can be incredibly difficult to navigate, especially when medications affect people differently, but I felt heard and taken seriously throughout the process. I also appreciate that he made himself available sooner when things got rough instead of making me wait weeks. That level of responsiveness matters more than people realize. Highly recommend Dr. G to anyone looking for a psychiatrist who is thoughtful, communicative, and genuinely invested in helping patients stabilize and improve.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Gutierrez made an outstanding first impression. He has an excellent bedside manner and created an environment where I felt comfortable discussing difficult topics without feeling judged. He listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and took the time to make sure I felt heard. What stood out most was his knowledge. He clearly stays current with the latest research and explained the reasoning behind my treatment options in a way that was both thorough and easy to understand. I left the appointment feeling confident that I was in capable hands. Finding a psychiatrist who is both compassionate and exceptionally knowledgeable isn't easy. I'm very grateful to have found Dr. Gutierrez and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality psychiatric care.
