Rick Loonam helps patients across Colorado gain stability, clarity, and renewed confidence through expert psychiatric medication management and compassionate, individualized care. As a prescriber with LifeStance Health, he partners with teens and adults to evaluate symptoms, clarify diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans for conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. With a strong clinical foundation in psychiatric medication management and substance abuse medication management, he carefully monitors treatment response and makes adjustments that align with each patient’s goals. When appropriate, he incorporates mindfulness-based strategies to strengthen focus, reduce stress, and enhance emotional regulation. He treats teens (15–17), young adults, and adults through age 64. He also has experience supporting first responders, military service members and veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those impacted by adoption or foster care. Rick recognizes the unique stressors these communities may face and provides respectful, culturally responsive mental health treatment tailored to their needs. In addition to his primary areas of expertise, he has experience addressing trauma, OCD, sleep disorders, psychosis, and life transitions. Rick earned his education at Regis University and has been practicing since 2023.
