About Marcia Spencer (She/Her)
Helping children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Florida find relief from emotional and behavioral health challenges is a priority for Marcia Spencer at LifeStance Health. As a psychiatric prescriber, she provides thoughtful, individualized care that combines medication management with therapeutic support to help patients improve daily functioning and overall well-being. Marcia works with a wide range of mental health concerns, with particular expertise in treating anxiety, ADHD, and depression, while offering support for many additional psychiatric conditions. Marcia takes a collaborative and practical approach to care, recognizing that every patient’s experience is unique. She enjoys partnering with individuals and families to better understand symptoms, identify treatment goals, and develop personalized strategies for lasting improvement. Her work includes mental health treatment for children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, helping patients navigate challenges at school, work, home, and in relationships. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, Marcia supports patients in building effective coping skills and healthier patterns of thinking and behavior. In addition to medication management, she provides care for individuals facing substance use concerns through medication-assisted treatment services. She also offers treatment for a broad range of additional psychiatric and behavioral health conditions beyond her primary areas of focus. Marcia is committed to creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel respected and empowered in their treatment journey. She believes that successful mental health care begins with listening carefully, building trust, and helping patients make informed decisions about their care. Outside of her clinical work, Marcia enjoys gardening and spending quality time with her family. These personal interests help her maintain balance and reinforce her belief in the importance of nurturing overall wellness in everyday life. Marcia earned her education from the University of Hartford and the University of Saint Joseph. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2017, she has remained dedicated to helping patients achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life. She is proud to serve individuals and families throughout Florida who are seeking compassionate, evidence-based mental health treatment.
