In her practice, Shaleacia also supports individuals facing depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health conditions. She incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to help patients build healthy coping skills and emotional regulation. She has experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and welcomes people from diverse backgrounds. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, she offers support for a variety of other mental health concerns. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2019, Shaleacia has remained dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying informed about advances in mental health treatment. Her educational background includes studies at Brenau University and Emory University, which helped prepare her to provide thoughtful, patient-centered psychiatric care. Outside of work, Shaleacia enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places. She is passionate about personal and professional growth and finds fulfillment in helping others recognize their strengths, feel supported, and become empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
