Chinyere Okonkwo is a dual board-certified and experienced Nurse Practitioner in Georgia who has been practicing since 2017. She obtained her Bachelor’s in nursing at Brenau University in 2011. She considered it necessary to further her education as a Family/Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in 2017 and 2021 respectively as she believes in holistic, and patient centered approach. Chinyere is thorough, culturally competent, empathetic, and attentive to her patients. Her previous experience includes many years working in both acute care settings and state agencies treating patients with both medical and mental health challenges. Chinyere treats Adolescents and Adults. She enjoys working with a wide range of behavioral health issues including Schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, and trauma. Chinyere’s goal is to ensure her patients live a healthier and meaningful lives. In her spare time, Chinyere enjoys singing and walking outside.

I have been using lifestance for several years and have no complaints. The mental health professionals are very caring and professional. I haven't had one I didn't like because I have used them in several states, also it's from the comfort of your home or where ever you can have a confidential conversation. I would like to say I am extremely happy with Nurse Okonkwo. She is professional, friendly and she puts me at ease. I recommend them to highly.
