Amber Comeau, MSN, CNP, Psychiatry in Medford, Massachusetts

Amber Comeau is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with certification through the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC.) She provides psychiatric assessment, evaluation and medication management for children and adults. She has experience in outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization and community based acute treatment levels of care. She provides care for a variety of psychiatric illnesses, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorder, trauma related disorders, substance use disorders and ADHD. Amber provides a trauma informed approach to treatment, providing a safe environment for clients, transparency, empowerment of the client, and respect for clients’ beliefs and identities. She works collaboratively to provide holistic care, addressing physical, environmental, and emotional needs of each individual. She enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan to target their specific needs in an open and nonjudgmental environment. Amber completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner across the lifespan and completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Utica College.
