About Juliet Nwokedi (She/Her)
Juliet Nwokedi helps adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults achieve greater emotional wellness through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner at LifeStance Health, she serves patients throughout Maryland with a personalized approach that combines medication management and individual therapy. Juliet works collaboratively with each patient to understand their unique experiences, develop effective treatment plans, and support lasting improvements in mental health. She frequently helps individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, while also providing care for a wide range of additional mental health concerns. Juliet is particularly committed to supporting individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, and trauma. She recognizes that emotional distress can affect every aspect of life, including relationships, work, school, and physical health. Her goal is to provide a safe, respectful space where patients feel heard and empowered as they build coping skills, increase resilience, and move toward meaningful recovery. Her treatment approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Christian counseling, and faith-based treatment when appropriate to a patient’s preferences and goals. Juliet believes that effective psychiatric care addresses the whole person, taking into account emotional, psychological, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she has experience treating conditions such as ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, postpartum depression and anxiety, psychosis, schizophrenia, sleep disorders, and women’s mental health concerns. Juliet earned her advanced training from Walden University and Jacksonville University. As both an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she is dedicated to staying informed about current research and best practices in mental health treatment to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Outside of her professional work, Juliet enjoys traveling, spending time with family, reading, and pursuing opportunities for learning and personal growth. She values activities that promote wellness and is passionate about mental health advocacy, education, and lifelong learning. Through LifeStance Health, Juliet provides mental health services to patients across Maryland, offering therapy and psychiatric treatment tailored to each individual’s needs. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, or other mental health challenges, she is committed to helping patients build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
