About Rosemary Banahene (She/Her)

Rosemary Banahene helps adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults build stability, improve mental wellness, and move toward meaningful recovery through comprehensive psychiatric care. At LifeStance Health, she serves patients throughout Maryland with a holistic, patient-centered approach that combines medication management, therapy services, and evidence-based treatment strategies. Rosemary partners with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, helping them better understand their symptoms and develop practical tools for lasting emotional health. She also provides care for a broad spectrum of mental health conditions and offers additional treatment options tailored to each patient’s unique needs. A key focus of Rosemary’s practice is supporting individuals affected by anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. She understands that mental health challenges can impact relationships, school performance, work responsibilities, and overall quality of life. Rosemary is passionate about helping patients regain confidence, strengthen coping skills, and create achievable goals that support long-term wellness. She believes that compassionate care and a strong therapeutic partnership are essential components of successful treatment. Rosemary works with teens and adults across a wide range of life stages and clinical needs. Her treatment approach may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques to help patients develop healthier thought patterns, regulate emotions, and improve daily functioning. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she has experience supporting individuals with ADHD, substance use concerns, sleep-related issues, psychotic disorders, grief, eating disorders, and other complex behavioral health challenges. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Rosemary provides a variety of services, including medication management, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, intensive outpatient services, case management, TMS, and substance abuse medication management. Her goal is to deliver personalized care that addresses the whole person rather than simply treating symptoms. Rosemary earned advanced nursing education from Walden University and Chamberlain College of Nursing. She remains committed to providing evidence-based psychiatric care while fostering an environment where patients feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Rosemary enjoys giving back through community involvement and values opportunities to support and uplift those around her. Her commitment to helping others extends beyond the clinical setting and reflects her dedication to service and advocacy. Through LifeStance Health, Rosemary provides mental health treatment and psychiatric services to patients across Maryland. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, substance use challenges, or other mental health concerns, she is dedicated to helping each patient achieve improved well-being and a healthier, more balanced life.
