About Marian Nur (She/Her)

Marian Nur, PMHNP, works passionately with patients seeking to develop a treatment plan for their psychiatric care that supports stability, symptom relief, and long-term wellness. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management for adults and older adults across Minnesota. Marian partners closely with patients experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, while also supporting individuals facing a wide range of other mental health challenges. Marian is especially passionate about helping individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital and those participating in court-ordered treatment. She understands that these transitions can be complex and often require thoughtful coordination, consistent follow-up, and individualized care. Her approach emphasizes helping patients maintain progress, reduce the risk of relapse, and build a strong foundation for recovery while navigating life’s responsibilities and treatment requirements. In her practice, Marian works with adults experiencing concerns related to mood disorders, substance use, and serious mental illness. She also has experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and head injuries. While her clinical expertise includes anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, she also treats additional mental health conditions and life challenges, including trauma-related concerns, grief, women’s mental health issues, and later-life transitions. Through evidence-based medication management, she strives to help patients achieve meaningful improvements in their daily functioning and quality of life. Marian earned her education from Wayne State University and brings a patient-centered perspective to psychiatric care. She believes that successful treatment begins with listening carefully to each individual’s story, understanding their goals, and creating a collaborative plan that reflects their unique needs and circumstances. Outside of work, Marian enjoys knitting, a hobby that allows her to express creativity, practice mindfulness, and maintain balance in her personal life.
