I have been seeing this provider for years. He is empathetic and understanding, he listens without judgement and tries to find the best solution for his patients even if it isn’t what they “want”, because a lot of times what we “want” isn’t what we need or isn’t what’s best for us. He is one of the best providers I’ve ever seen because of these reasons. I know he will genuinely listen to me, my input and my wants and suggestions and consider them but ultimately make the choice that’s BEST for me as a patient. That’s not common anymore in providers. And it’s very appreciated.

Robert Ussai has been my Psychiatric Practitioner now for a number of years. He has really helped me through my mental struggles and anxiety to cope with everyday challenges and situations. He gives me a sense of peace and comfort like an old friend that you can feel comfortable with sharing difficult times and obstacles. He knows the right path to lead my discussions and helps me have a clearer grasp of myself. I am so grateful for his professionalism and commitment to me as a man who is just trying to be better than yesterday.

I had been seeing a Psychiatrist for many years. I never got anywhere, judged me, and would leave me without medication. Then I switched to Robert Ussai, he was very kind, educated, and I was able to have open conversations about medications that did not work for me. It's a very pleasant, open dialogue. Changed my whole perspective on mental health care. Highly, recommend.

I was nervous to actually speak to someone about my issues and he was absolutely wonderful,insightful, and understanding. I honestly can't say enough good things about my first visit. He educated me on the medications and pros and cons and why it would or wouldn't work for me. I felt comfortable and at ease. Great experience.

Dr. Ussai is absolutely amazing! He’s very intelligent, easy to talk to, very professional and knows his craft. I’ve been with him over a year, and he makes me feel like I’ve known him my entire life. And that is exactly what I need in a councilor. It is without hesitation that I recommend Dr. Ussai as a counselor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ussai for a few years now, I couldn't be happier with him as my doctor. He's patient, understanding, and truly enjoys his profession, which makes it easy to talk to him. I am a veteran, and I am entitled to use VA resources, but I would much prefer to pay out of pocket to see him.
