Brittany Kopena, PMHNP, provides compassionate and individualized psychiatric care for patients across Ohio, helping teens, adults, and seniors navigate complex mental health challenges. She partners with patients to address conditions such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, and trauma-related concerns, offering thoughtful medication management that supports both emotional and physical well-being. Her approach focuses on helping patients regain balance, improve daily functioning, and build resilience in their personal and professional lives.

Brittany is particularly passionate about supporting patients recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals, recognizing the importance of continuity of care during this critical transition. She has extensive experience helping individuals manage mood disorders, trauma, and co-occurring behavioral or substance use challenges. By integrating evidence-based strategies with individualized attention, she empowers patients to regain control over their mental health and foster long-term stability.

In her practice, Brittany draws on interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and parenting skills to complement her medication management. She is committed to serving diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, military members and veterans, first responders, and those on the autism spectrum, tailoring her care to meet each patient’s unique needs.

Outside of her professional work, Brittany maintains her own mental well-being by spending time in nature and surrounding herself with animals, activities that keep her grounded and inspired. Her dedication to both her patients and her personal growth reflects a holistic approach to mental health care.

I saw my psychiatrist today Brittany , I love working with her she is so patient and full of great knowledge. She help me through my struggles today and wants to meet with me in one more month. I'm so happy that she's there for me and told me of anything else happened to definitely give her a call. I'm so glad that she's on top of everything that's going on with me.
