Christopher Lautt is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He earned both his Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degrees with honors at The Ohio State University. He has been working in psychiatry for several years as a nurse and nurse practitioner with experience in telepsychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, and outpatient community mental health. His central philosophies in his practice are that communication is key in psychiatric care and that patients should be on the fewest number of medications at the lowest dosage possible that will keep them feeling stable and productive. Christopher enjoys working with a variety of patient populations ranging from adolescent to geriatric patients. His areas of specialty include bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, depression, anxiety including panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and addiction and substance use disorder.
