Rachael Touma, MSN, PMHNP, NP

Rachael Touma is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her nursing career began at the University of Oklahoma where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She holds an additional Bachelor of Science in Education from Northeastern State University. Professionally, Rachael has a diverse resume. She has practiced in numerous psychiatric treatment settings which include acute inpatient, residential inpatient, outpatient private practice, and outpatient community mental health. Her love for behavioral health started in 2009 while working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, traumatic brain injuries, and Reactive Attachment Disorder.

Over the years, she has acquired vast experience in treating depression, anxiety, attention-deficit disorder, mood disorders, psychosis, and personality disorders, among many others. She is also proud to serve individuals from the LGBTQ+ community. With a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment, she provides personalized, evidence-based care that respects each person s identity and unique journey. Passionate about promoting mental well-being, Rachael offers a non-judgmental space where clients can explore their challenges and receive the care they deserve. She takes an individualized approach to care by tailoring treatment plans specifically to each one of her patients. She truly believes the development of a healthy, trusting patient-provider relationship is the foundation of her practice. She promotes mental wellness through a variety of interventions including medication management, pharmacogenomic testing, brief psychotherapy, and education. She enjoys spending most of her free time with her husband and two incredible children. She loves being outdoors and watching sports but holds special interest in softball and baseball. She also enjoys listening to 80s music, playing guitar, and crafting.
