I treat using a patient-centered approach where patients play an active role in the management of their mental health. Mental health conditions can be effectively treated and an optimal state of wellness can be achieved by establishing a therapeutic partnership in approaching the management of your care. By incorporating empowerment and psychoeducation I will provide you with the tools needed to effectively manage your mental health. I treat and manage all mental health disorders, including mood/anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders. My areas of clinical interest include working with the LGBTQIA population, those seeking treatment for the first time, healthcare professionals, first responders, and military populations. Over the past twenty years I have worked with mental health consumers as a case manager, psychiatric/mental health nurse, mental health advocate, and nurse practitioner. I completed my Bachelors in Nursing degree at Cedar Crest College and my Masters of Nursing Degree, with a focus in psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner care across the lifespan at Drexel University. I have treated patients in private practice, mental health crisis centers, and forensic treatment centers.
