She is proud to hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, with board certification to treat individuals across the lifespan. Staying current with advancements in the field is a priority for Achieng, which is why she is an active member of the Neuroscience Education Institute and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Outside of work, Achieng finds joy in curling up with a good book, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with family. Traveling and experiencing new cultures also enriches her life and broadens her perspective, helping her connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
