Nancy Ariwodo helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults navigate mental health challenges with compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management and individualized treatment plans for patients throughout Texas. Nancy works collaboratively with each person to create a supportive environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered to make progress toward their mental health goals. Nancy has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also helping individuals manage a wide range of other psychiatric conditions. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, ongoing support, and personalized treatment strategies tailored to each stage of life. She serves diverse populations, including individuals in foster or adoptive care, those with autism spectrum disorders, military veterans, and others with unique mental health needs. One area Nancy is especially passionate about is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands that the transition from inpatient care to everyday life can be challenging and believes continuity of care is essential for long-term stability and recovery. Through close follow-up, medication management, and compassionate guidance, she helps patients build confidence, maintain progress, and reduce the risk of future crises. In addition to medication management, Nancy incorporates mindfulness-based strategies when appropriate to support emotional wellness and overall treatment success. She believes strong therapeutic relationships, open communication, and culturally responsive care are key components of effective mental health treatment. Nancy earned degrees from Chatham College, Walden University, and Midwestern State University. Since beginning her practice in 2020, she has remained committed to lifelong learning and delivering high-quality psychiatric care. Outside of work, Nancy enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, listening to music, and relaxing with movies and self-care activities. She is also passionate about mentoring future healthcare professionals and promoting mental health awareness in the community. Through LifeStance Health, Nancy provides mental health services and medication management for children, teens, adults, and seniors across Texas.
