Camay Rooney helps adults regain stability, clarity, and confidence through thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care. Serving patients across Washington State, Camay provides medication management and psychotherapy that are grounded in careful assessment, collaboration, and respect for each person’s lived experience. She works with young adults, adults, and seniors navigating concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals facing grief and complex mood or thought-related conditions. Her approach emphasizes safety, consistency, and practical strategies that support long-term mental wellness.

A core area of Camay’s passion is supporting individuals who are experiencing mental health concerns during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as those who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital and are transitioning back into daily life. She understands how vulnerable this period can feel and prioritizes continuity of care, medication stabilization, and clear follow-up planning to reduce the risk of relapse and rehospitalization. Camay also assists patients who need help navigating disability paperwork, bringing both clinical insight and compassion to a process that can often feel overwhelming.

Camay’s goal is to help patients feel supported, informed, and empowered during critical moments in their recovery. She respects each person’s individual background and circumstance; she strives to work in collaboration with her patients to reach their goals. She incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy–informed strategies and mindfulness alongside medication management to support symptom relief and emotional regulation. She offers additional expertise beyond her primary focus areas, tailoring care to meet each patient’s unique needs. Outside of her clinical work, Camay values faith, family, music, and time in nature. She enjoys gardening, traveling, staying active, and following sports (go Hawks!), which helps her maintain balance and perspective.
