Briana Paulo at LifeStance Health helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults across Rhode Island navigate emotional and behavioral challenges with compassion, patience, and evidence-based care. As a provisionally licensed clinician, she creates a supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood while building practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, and school-related stress. Briana offers individual therapy and psychological testing services tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals. Briana is especially passionate about supporting young people experiencing anxiety, childhood behavior concerns, and PTSD or trauma-related symptoms. She works closely with clients and families to better understand patterns that may be impacting emotional well-being, relationships, or academic success. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes collaboration, emotional safety, and helping clients develop healthy coping strategies that can be used both in and outside of therapy sessions. She also has experience supporting individuals navigating school avoidance, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and psychosis-related concerns. Her treatment style integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, resilience, and self-awareness. Briana also offers additional therapeutic interventions and works with a variety of populations, including individuals connected to adoption or foster care, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and the LGBTQ+ community. Outside of her clinical work, Briana enjoys reading across many genres, including fantasy, science fiction, and manga. Music is an important part of her life, and she especially enjoys listening to K-pop. She also loves creative hobbies such as embroidery, scrapbooking, and journaling, which reflect her thoughtful and expressive personality.

Briana Paulo provides services with supervision.
