Providence, Rhode Island Karoline Kugler Salazar, Post-Doctoral Fellow (PsyD)

Karoline Salazar, PsyD, obtained a doctor of Psychology from William James College. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at The Brenner Center in Newton, MA. Dr. Salazar focuses primarily on client-centered approaches to therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and positive psychology. Dr. Salazar has experience working with depression, anxiety, behavior problems, and family conflicts. She also conducts psychological and neuropsychological assessment, pre-surgical bariatric, and educational testing. Assessment areas include intellectual ability, cognitive difficulties such as ADHD, learning disabilities, psychotic disorder, bipolar, depressive disorders, anxiety, trauma, physical symptoms causing emotional distress, eating disorders, gender dissatisfaction, behavior, substance use problems, and personality traits. Dr. Salazar is trilingual and provides culturally sensitive therapy for Spanish and Portuguese speaking individuals and families.
