In my work with clients, I prefer to use a strength based approach and I strive to understand what makes life meaningful and worth celebrating. At the same time, I also try to uncover and collaborate with other treatment providers to address barriers to health and wellness. I am a strong believer in team building and advocacy for adults, adolescents and children under my care.

I completed an undergraduate degree in Ethnic Studies and Integrated Biology at UC Berkeley. I attended Medical School, Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Throughout training, I have also managed multiple mental health conditions, but I have a special interest in typical and atypical human development. Outside of work, I enjoy writing, reading, music and traveling.
