Aashna Sahi, MD,
About Aashna Sahi (She/Her)
Dr. Aashna Sahi, MD, helps adults across Michigan navigate mental health challenges with thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management for adults experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, while taking time to understand each patient’s unique experiences, goals, and strengths. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, helping patients feel informed and supported as they work toward improved emotional well-being and daily functioning. Dr. Sahi is particularly passionate about working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands that transitioning back to everyday life after an inpatient stay can be both hopeful and challenging. By providing ongoing psychiatric care, medication management, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-informed support, she helps patients maintain stability, reduce the risk of relapse, and build confidence during recovery. She also has experience helping patients manage complex mental health conditions and life transitions that can affect long-term wellness. In addition to supporting individuals recovering from psychiatric hospitalization, Dr. Sahi works with adults facing anxiety disorders, depression, and bipolar disorder, along with additional mental health concerns. She has experience serving diverse populations, including first responders and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her treatment approach focuses on developing individualized care plans that address symptoms while supporting overall quality of life, resilience, and personal growth. Dr. Sahi earned her medical education through Wayne State University and began practicing in 2026. She remains committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care grounded in clinical expertise and current best practices. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Sahi enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, traveling and exploring new destinations, and taking on home improvement projects. These interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, continuous learning, and finding balance in everyday life.
