Eva Montane, MD,
About Eva Montane (She/Her)
Eva Montane helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Missouri navigate mental health challenges with compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she partners with patients to create personalized treatment plans that support long-term wellness and improved quality of life. Her clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders, and she also provides care for a wide range of additional mental health conditions through medication management and substance use medication management services.
A particular area of focus for Dr. Montane is supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She is passionate about helping patients successfully transition back into daily life with continuity of care, medication support, and a thoughtful treatment approach that promotes stability, recovery, and resilience. She understands that this period can be especially challenging and works collaboratively with patients and families to foster progress and confidence during the recovery process.
Dr. Montane is dedicated to serving diverse populations, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and first responders. She incorporates interventions such as Gender-Affirmative Medical Readiness Evaluations, Medical Procedure Evaluations, and mindfulness-based strategies when appropriate. Her practice includes care for children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, and she offers additional support for a broad range of psychiatric concerns.
She earned her medical education from the University of South Florida and the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2020, Dr. Montane has remained committed to providing patient-centered psychiatric care grounded in respect, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Montane enjoys reading, playing games with friends and family, cooking, and practicing yoga. She also loves spending time with her cats, affectionately known as “the Lads.”
