Sarah Noaman, MD,
About Sarah Noaman (She/Her)
Sarah Noaman helps teens and adults navigate mental health challenges with compassionate, individualized psychiatric care and medication management. As a Medical Doctor at LifeStance Health, she serves patients throughout New York, partnering with individuals to better understand their symptoms, build resilience, and move toward meaningful recovery. She works with patients facing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, while also providing support for a broad range of additional mental health concerns. Dr. Noaman is committed to creating a collaborative treatment experience in which patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. She provides medication management tailored to each person’s goals, symptoms, and life circumstances. Her approach emphasizes careful evaluation, ongoing monitoring, and evidence-based treatment to help patients achieve improved emotional well-being and daily functioning. She also has experience working with individuals from specialized communities, including military veterans, first responders, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders. A particular area of passion for Dr. Noaman is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands that the transition from inpatient care to everyday life can be both hopeful and challenging. Through thoughtful medication management, continuity of care, and close follow-up, she helps patients maintain stability, reduce the risk of relapse, and continue progressing toward their recovery goals. In addition to treating anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, Dr. Noaman works with individuals experiencing ADHD, trauma-related concerns, women’s mental health issues, and other psychiatric conditions. She is dedicated to helping patients develop a treatment plan that reflects their unique needs, strengths, and personal circumstances. Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Noaman enjoys reading, swimming, and traveling. She values lifelong learning and appreciates opportunities to explore different cultures and perspectives. She is also able to provide care in Urdu and Pashto, which helps her connect with and support a diverse patient population.
