About Jeremy Carpenter (He/Him)

Dr. Carpenter has more than 12 years of experience in psychiatry with specialty in child and adolescent psychiatry. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he completed additional training in Health Policy and Advocacy. He completed his child and adolescent fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. In 2017, he was a finalist for the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Healthcare Hero for improving the quality of Cincinnati healthcare through his patient care mission. He has an interest in patient education and the art of psychiatric medication – connecting neurobiology with the human experience.

I have been seeing Dr Carpenter for 5 years. He's kind, patient, and listens when I tell him something isn't right. He always makes sure I'm comfortable before making any changes to my treatment. It took a long time to figure out a medication combo that worked for me. He stuck with me until we found something that helped. When I send messages with questions, he always answers promptly. I feel like I've gotten the best care possible from Dr Carpenter.

My doctor, Jeremy Carpenter is great. There was a brief moment when I was unsure we were headed in the right direction with my care. Turns out he was right all along. As a result, we have a doctor/patient relationship built on patience and trust. I realized no one heals overnight. In spite of my lack of trust, Dr. Jeremy remained warm, steadfast and professional. Highly recommend him!

Excellent. My therapist was thrilled when found out I had him for medication management. I despise taking pills so he is understanding of that and 'prescribes' the non-pharma way before jumping to meds aka different types of exercise, eating at least twice a day, better habits for sleep, etc. Very good at answering questions regarding contraindications and side effects.

Dr. Carpenter is an amazing Dr. He has been so helpful and so patient with me. He has helped me and continues to help me with my depression and anxiety. He listens to what I'm saying and I honestly don't know if I'd have been able to get through my journey without him. I trust him and I know he only wants what is best for me. Dr. Carpenter worked with me to find the right medications. We had to work through a couple medications before I found my perfect match. The other doctors I have seen seemed to give up on me, but Dr. Carpenter didn't. I have been seeing him for two years and he is a good doctor.
