Carol Lewis helps adults and seniors across Ohio build steadier footing when depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use, or major life transitions begin to affect daily life. At LifeStance Health, she provides thoughtful psychiatric care through medication management, individual therapy, and substance use medication management, offering treatment that is both medically grounded and attentive to each person’s goals, history, and symptoms.

She is especially passionate about supporting people who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital and need a careful, stabilizing next step in care. Carol understands how important follow-up treatment can be after hospitalization, and she works closely with patients as they transition back into daily routines, strengthen coping strategies, and reduce the risk of relapse or readmission. Her approach emphasizes continuity, safety, and practical support during vulnerable periods of recovery.

Her clinical work commonly includes treatment for anxiety, depression, and psychosis, along with care for adults facing substance use concerns and additional psychiatric needs. She also works with populations including LGBTQ+ individuals, people with autism spectrum disorders, and those living with head injuries. In addition to ongoing psychiatric treatment, she offers medical procedure evaluations when appropriate.

With more than two decades of practice since 2000, Carol brings seasoned clinical judgment and a calm, respectful presence to treatment. She earned her medical degree from Tufts School of Medicine after attending Wellesley College. Outside of work, she enjoys classical music, traveling, hiking, gardening, and cooking.
