About Maura Munoz (She/Her)

Maura Munoz helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Ohio navigate complex mental health challenges through thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management services tailored to each individual’s needs, creating collaborative treatment plans that support long-term emotional wellness. Her clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety, and depression, and she also treats a wide range of additional mental health conditions.

A meaningful focus of Maura’s practice is supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She is passionate about helping patients transition safely from inpatient care to outpatient treatment, providing continuity, stability, and ongoing psychiatric support during a critical stage of recovery. Her goal is to help patients build on the progress they have made while developing strategies that promote resilience and sustained well-being.

Maura has experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals in adoption and foster care settings, those with autism spectrum disorders, and military members and veterans. She understands that every person’s story is unique and approaches treatment with empathy, curiosity, and respect. While her expertise includes these populations, she also provides care for many other individuals seeking support for their mental health needs.

Her educational background includes training at the University of Michigan, Loyola University, and The Ohio State University. Since beginning her practice in 2019, she has remained dedicated to staying informed about advancements in psychiatric care and evidence-based treatment approaches.

Outside of work, Maura enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures, and learning about the developing mind. These interests contribute to her appreciation for different perspectives and help shape the compassionate, patient-centered approach she brings to her practice.
