I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Genuinely just a super down-to-earth guy. I wasn't looking for live altering treatment, and I found what I needed here. That being said, I'm confident that this man is capable to address cases of every level. He's open to conversation about a wide variety of fields and is knowledgable on the current literature. There's nothing more I would expect, nor do I leave with questions unanswered, as everything discuss is taken seriously and addressed fully. While the option is there to start doses for any ailment, he is also accommodating to fewer prescriptions, also recommending treatments that don't require pills at all. I found that exceedingly comforting. Finding a psychiatrist is a difficult and rather grueling process, as you can find negative reviews about just about anyone. I'm not the typical person to leave a review to begin with, but if this helps someone find the treatment they are looking for, I feel confident that you can find that here.

I worked with Dr. Zaman during a difficult period of my life where I was experiencing anxiety, depression and a very difficult phobia that was becoming very detrimental to my every day life along with ever increasing social anxiety. Dr. Zaman was a great help in my journey to recovery, along with a therapist, self work and the drive to never give up until I got my life back again where I could functional more normally as I once did. I can happily say I am now in that place again, feeling good, no longer suffering from my phobias, dealing with a more normal level of every day anxiety and overall just feeling ok

Dr, Zaman is great at making you feel comfortable and allowing you to share your experiences at whatever depth you choose without pressuring you to do more than you are comfortable with. He asks good questions and is always committed to the long haul of making sure you are going to feel better long term. He is also very transparent with the possible pros and cons of certain medications and processes to make you feel better in such a way that you feel like he is on the journey with you

I have had MANY psychiatrists over the years and Dr. Zaman is the first doctor who i actually felt comfortable opening up to about my mental health. I suffer from anxiety, depression and most of all, panic attacks. He understands the severity of panic attacks and how debilitating and life altering they can be. He makes every session comfortable as he is an easy guy to talk to. He takes both a medical and lifestyle approach in his treatment and it has been life changing for me.

Being my first psychiatrist, I was lucky to find Dr. Zaman. He's easy to talk to and being a D.O. he makes a point to stress the importance of sleep, nutrition, and other basic habits that are foundational to mental and physical health. I am very satisfied with my treatment. Also while there have been many bad reviews about the office staff at this practice, I've been a patient for nine months and never had any problems with the staff or management.

I highly recommend Dr Zaman. I have been a patient of Dr Zaman for over a year. After his indepth assessment he prescribed medication for my anxiety that has helped tremendously. Dr Zaman takes the time to really listen and make sound recommendations that have been most helpful. I am a healthcare professional who experienced worsening anxiety during the covid 19 pandemic and appreciative of Dr Zaman as a excellent health care provider.
