Jennifer Burkett, DO,
About Jennifer Burkett (She/Her)
Jennifer Burkett helps children, teens, and adults throughout Washington find relief from mental health symptoms through thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric medication management. As a Doctor of Osteopathy at LifeStance Health, she works collaboratively with patients to understand their concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and support long-term emotional wellness. Jennifer treats a wide range of conditions, with particular expertise in ADHD, anxiety, and depression, helping patients navigate challenges that affect their daily functioning, relationships, school performance, and overall quality of life. Jennifer believes effective psychiatric care starts with listening. She takes time to understand each patient’s experiences, goals, and strengths while providing compassionate, patient-centered treatment. Whether working with school-age children struggling with attention and behavioral concerns, teens facing emotional or social challenges, or adults managing complex mental health conditions, she strives to create an environment where patients feel respected and supported. Her practice includes medication management for a broad range of psychiatric concerns, and she offers additional support for individuals experiencing other mental health conditions. She also has experience serving individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Jennifer recognizes that mental health care is not one-size-fits-all and tailors treatment to each person’s unique circumstances. Her clinical approach may incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when appropriate, helping patients process difficult experiences and build resilience. She is committed to helping patients improve emotional well-being, strengthen coping skills, and achieve meaningful progress in their lives. Jennifer earned her education from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine and Cal Poly Humboldt. Her medical training supports a holistic perspective that considers both mental and physical health when developing treatment recommendations. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys walking her dogs, watching movies, and reading books. These interests help her maintain balance and reflect her appreciation for connection, curiosity, and lifelong learning.
