Whether you’ve been struggling with work-related stress, life transitions, grief, relationships, persistent symptoms (e.g., worry, depressed mood, angry outbursts), or something else—we will work together to identify what to focus on and address. I will develop an individually-tailored treatment plan to help you set healthy goals, learn and utilize new skills, and make effective short and long-term changes in your life. Additionally, I will strive to help you approach difficult thoughts and feelings, and build a life that aligns with your values. As a licensed clinical psychologist trained in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness based-therapies, I work with clients to integrate the most relevant and helpful techniques in treatment. I also incorporate initial and ongoing assessment in my practice, to track clients’ progress and to update treatment strategies.

I enjoy working with adults across the age spectrum; I have treated individuals experiencing symptoms of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD among others. My academic background encompasses research on emotional variables and and health-related outcomes, and I have published peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on these topics. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and completed my predoctoral residency and postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University’s Alpert School of Medicine.
