Are you feeling stuck and unable to move forward in your work or your relationships with others? Do you feel all alone, helpless or hopeless, rather than thriving and achieving the most out of your life? How you answer these questions may indicate how much you could benefit from therapy or coaching. Everyone experiences difficulties that are sometimes overwhelming, and a caring and experienced therapist can come alongside you to provide the insights and strategies necessary to navigate through your struggles so you can cope, heal, and truly be successful in life. I empower individuals to take control of their lives to make the positive changes to live more productive and happier lives.
As a clinical psychologist with over 22 years of experience, I care about and truly enjoy helping individuals get beyond their struggles to achieve their optimum levels. I believe in a holistic work-life balance and have expertise in building individual and family resilience to promote healthy self-respect and healthy relationships. I have specialized training and expertise in Police Psychology, Critical Incident Response and Stress Management.
I have successfully treated many clients who have suffered from fears, anxiety, depression, work stress, stress related disorders, grief and loss, low self-esteem, relationship, marriage, and family crises so that they can live healthier and more productive lives.
I have successfully treated debilitating trauma of Law Enforcement Officers and Military Veterans utilizing Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I am especially passionate about equipping couples with the skills necessary to grow their relationships and intimacy and have helped numerous couples restore their broken marriages. I also provide faith-based counseling to those clients who desire a spiritual perspective on emotional healing and mental health.
I provide counseling primarily from a cognitive behavioral framework, but also integrate other evidenced-based approaches such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
