Blair Brown, PsyD
Dr. Blair Brown is the Executive Clinical Director overseeing Clinical Quality, as well as a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to enhancing patient care through measurement-based care, clinical care pathways, and quality improvement initiatives. She ensures excellence in clinical services by leading a team focused on improving outcomes and advancing best practices.
Dr. Brown earned her doctoral degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL, and completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Streamwood Behavioral Health Hospital. There, she received specialized training in play therapy, collaborative problem-solving, dialectical behavioral therapy, crisis management, and applied behavior analysis, while simultaneously completing a fellowship in psychoanalysis. With experience in outpatient, inpatient, school, community, leadership, and camp settings, she brings a comprehensive and dynamic approach to clinical care.
Dr. Brown’s areas of interest include depression, anxiety, women’s issues, LGBTQIA/Kink, parenting challenges, eating disorders (HAES/IE), autism spectrum disorders, divorce, adoption or attachment-related concerns, emotional trauma, and grief/loss. Her treatment approach integrates client-centered care with psychodynamic (interpersonal) therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and family systems strategies to provide individualized and effective support. In addition to therapy, Dr. Brown specializes in psychological assessments, offering insight into personality structures, behavioral patterns, learning difficulties, and intellectual capacities. These assessments guide personalized treatment plans and enhance diagnostic clarity.
Dr. Brown believes that meaningful change begins with trust, empathy, and understanding. She partners with clients to explore their histories, thought patterns, and relationships—balancing humor with depth, validation with challenge—to foster lasting transformation.
