Carla Corsey, Psy.D. is a Licensed Psychologist who completed her graduate training in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University. Dr. Corsey also holds a Master’s degree in Education from Bowie State University. Dr. Corsey completed her Pre-Doctoral internship at the Fifth Avenue Center for Counseling & Psychotherapy in New York, and her Post-Doctoral training at the Regional Institute for Children & Adolescents in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Corsey has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including at Baltimore Lab School in Baltimore, MD and Washington Behavioral Medicine Associates, LLC. She works with children, adults, and families coping with a range of psychological conditions and related uncomfortable symptoms including those related to anxiety, depression, identity development, interpersonal difficulties, and ADHD. Dr. Corsey has considerable experience conducting psychological assessments with children and adolescents to help identify strengths and vulnerabilities related to learning disabilities, developmental delays, attentional challenges, social-emotional limitations, and other challenges that hinder daily functioning. Dr. Corsey provides an individualized approach with therapy as well as assessments to ensure that personal goals are met.
