Doveal Goins, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical forensic psychologist who earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, and Master of Arts in Education from National University. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Clinical Forensic Psychology and her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, California. Dr Goins? special interests are working with children, adolescents and adults in psychotherapy, addressing a wide range of psychological disorders including depression, anxiety, self-harm/suicidal behaviors, conduct and mood disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline and antisocial personality disorder, ADHD, PTSD and LGBTQ issues. She practices individual, family, and couples? therapy. Dr. Goins has experience working in a variety of clinical and forensic settings such as Orange County Juvenile Drug Court, Los Angeles Probation Department, and South-Central Training Consortium in Los Angeles, California.
