He has studied, and done research, with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Sports Concussion Program, and with some of the leading professionals in the field of mild Traumatic Brain Injury. He was involved in doing individual and family therapy, school consultations, and psychological, cognitive, and neuropsychological evaluations with children as young as 2 ½ years of age, adolescents, and their families. At the same time, he kept a part-time private practice in psychotherapy, Disability Evaluations for the state of Hawaii, and neuropsychological evaluations for the V.A. on Kauai, and for the general public of the island.
