Ebony Wright is a Psychologist in Maryland who has been practicing since 2021. She has a Psy.D. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology DC Campus, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from The American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University Northern Virginia and a B.S. in Psychology from Oakwood University. Ebony believes that taking the step to initiate therapeutic services is one to be applauded. Her services are deeply rooted in rapport building, empathy, and emphasis on the importance of collaboration between the client and herself. Ebony moves at the pace of the client while gently challenging them to take the necessary steps toward their therapeutic goals. She keeps in mind the unique background and story that each of her clients have that shape who they are and where they would like to go. Ebony often uses an integrative treatment approach that is tailored to the specific needs of the client. She encourages her clients to provide her with feedback throughout their time working together so that the client feels empowered and that their voice is being heard. Ebony supports her clients on their road to self-discovery, implements strategies to minimize their symptomology, provides them with tools to build meaningful connections with their loved ones, and works to enhance their overall quality of life. Outside of work, Ebony absolutely loves to sing! Music has always been a part of her life and she doesn’t see that changing any time soon. She really enjoys watching movies as it has always been a way for her to bond with her family and friends. Traveling brings her so much joy because it reminds her how much beauty there is in the world in nature, different cultures, and in the food! Speaking of food, she enjoys trying out new restaurants and restaurants that have great vibes.
