Lindsay Plumer, PsyD, is dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals and families in Minnesota. At LifeStance Health, she supports children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. Whether addressing complex trauma, navigating life transitions, or managing conditions like anxiety and depression, Lindsay’s personalized approach fosters resilience and growth for patients of all ages. She also offers psychological testing services to provide detailed insights into cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning, ensuring a tailored path to healing. Lindsay has a particular passion for working with individuals recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals, those navigating court-ordered treatment, and those engaged in workers’ compensation-related therapy. Her expertise in addressing these unique needs allows her to support patients in reclaiming stability and meaning in their lives. With specialized training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International, Lindsay is also well-equipped to help individuals facing reproductive challenges, postpartum depression and anxiety, and women’s health issues. Using interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, Lindsay empowers her patients to develop practical skills and strategies for lasting change. Her practice also includes couples and family therapy, with a focus on strengthening communication and connection. Lindsay serves diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals on the autism spectrum, and military veterans, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all. Outside of her clinical work, Lindsay finds joy in spending time with her therapy partner, Animosh, her big black dog. She enjoys driving her favorite Volkswagens, singing, painting, and experimenting in the kitchen. Sea glass hunting adds a touch of serenity to her life, blending her love for nature with her creative spirit.
