Anne Vorbach, PhD, helps adults and older adults across Minnesota navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a thoughtful, individualized approach to care. As a psychologist at LifeStance Health, she works with patients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, while also supporting individuals through significant life transitions. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes that improve emotional well-being and daily functioning. A particular area of passion for Dr. Vorbach is helping people move through midlife and later-life transitions. Whether facing changes in relationships, career shifts, retirement, caregiving responsibilities, grief, or evolving personal identities, she understands how these experiences can affect emotional health. She helps patients develop resilience, discover new sources of meaning, and adapt to life’s changing circumstances with greater confidence and self-awareness. Dr. Vorbach draws from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, and couples/marital counseling when appropriate. She serves a diverse range of patients, including women, military veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, while also offering additional support for other populations and concerns. In addition to individual therapy, she provides psychological testing and neuropsychological testing services to help clarify diagnoses, evaluate cognitive and emotional functioning, and guide treatment recommendations. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2002, Dr. Vorbach has built extensive experience helping individuals address complex emotional and behavioral concerns. Her educational background includes training at Boston College and the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Vorbach enjoys reading and lifelong learning, yoga and movement for strength, solving word puzzles, and finding inspiration through the arts and the natural world. She is also passionate about civic engagement and contributing to strong, supportive communities while helping maintain spaces where people feel safe, respected, and valued.
