About Jamie Oliver (She/Her)

Jamie Oliver, Ph.D., helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults build skills to manage emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges while creating a path toward greater confidence and daily functioning. As a psychologist with LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for patients across North Carolina. Jamie works with individuals and families facing concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and childhood behavior issues, while also supporting those navigating depression, trauma-related concerns, and other emotional or developmental challenges. A significant focus of Jamie’s practice is helping children and teens who are struggling with ADHD, school avoidance, and behavioral concerns that affect academic performance, relationships, and overall well-being. She is passionate about identifying underlying factors that contribute to these difficulties and helping families develop practical strategies for success at home, in school, and in everyday life. Her experience also includes working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities, allowing her to tailor treatment approaches to each person’s unique strengths and needs. Jamie utilizes evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parenting skills training, and psychological testing, to better understand each patient’s needs and guide treatment planning. She believes that effective therapy begins with a thorough understanding of the individual and their environment, and she partners closely with patients and families to create realistic goals and meaningful progress. In addition to her primary specialties, Jamie offers support for a range of mental health and behavioral health concerns. Outside of her professional work, Jamie enjoys baking, crocheting, reading, and traveling.
