Dr. Jamie Fitzpatrick earned her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in clinical neuropsychology from Nova Southeastern University. She recently completed her pre-doctoral internship at Child Provider Specialists/Miami Children’s Hospital Dan Marino Center in Florida, where she provided comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations to children and adolescents. In addition to this experience, Dr. Fitzpartick has worked in a number of settings that have including private practice, community mental health, academic settings, and residential and group programs.

Dr. Fitzpatrick provides neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, as well as adult populations, who present with various neuro-developmental disorders such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and learning disorders, behavior disorders (e.g. Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder), psychological disorders (anxiety, depression), traumatic brain injury, memory deficits, and executive functioning difficulties.

Additionally, Dr. Fitzpatrick provides therapeutic services to children and their families. Her approach depends on the unique needs and presenting difficulties of the client, but she tends to utilize a cognitive behavioral or behavioral approach to treatment. Common areas addressed in therapy include anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder anger management issues, and social skills training.

Dr. Fitzpatrick also has experience in utilizing cognitive rehabilitation techniques to address cognitive weaknesses such as attention, executive functioning, and memory deficits.
