Sue Schramka, PsyD

Dr. Schramka provides psychological treatment for children, adolescents and adults. Her special interests include treating anxiety and mood disorders, divorce adjustment issues, interpersonal difficulties and stress management. Her therapeutic approach focuses on building competent coping strategies, changing maladaptive cognitive processes and incorporates mindfulness meditation as well as behavioral activation. She offers family mediation in which parents who are divorcing and/or separating are assisted through a child-centered process in which an effective parenting plan is developed. Dr. Schramka also offers a Dialectical Behavior Therapy group for adolescent girls in the summer. Dr. Schramka received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her master’s and doctoral degrees from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Schramka enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband in her free time and is active in girl scouts.
