Lora Sayles, LPC,
About Lora Sayles (She/Her)
Lora Sayles helps adults and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based therapy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy to patients throughout Arizona who are seeking help for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Lora creates a welcoming, collaborative environment where patients can build resilience, gain insight, and develop skills that support meaningful and lasting change. Lora has extensive experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting patients managing a wide range of other mental health conditions and life transitions. She works with adults and seniors across various stages of life, helping them address concerns related to relationships, grief, mood disorders, and personal growth. In addition to serving men and women, she has experience supporting first responders and understands the unique stressors that can accompany high-demand careers and significant life circumstances. A particular area of passion for Lora is working with individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital, are participating in court-ordered treatment, or are navigating a current legal matter. She recognizes that these situations can feel overwhelming and isolating, and she is committed to helping patients establish stability, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with confidence. Her approach emphasizes accountability, hope, and practical strategies that support long-term wellness and recovery. Lora incorporates evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She may also draw from additional therapeutic approaches to help patients develop healthier thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, and make progress toward their personal goals. She earned her education from George Fox University and the University of Phoenix, building a foundation of clinical knowledge that supports her thoughtful and patient-centered care. Outside of her professional work, Lora enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending quality time with family and friends. These personal interests reinforce her appreciation for balance, connection, and overall well-being.
